Friday Favorites

Another Friday means more FAVORITES to link up!

On Monday I shared a recap of our weekend, my favorite was the first birthday party for our son! The theme was Penguins & Pizza, two of his favorites right now!

At least once a month I get a stack of new library books for our son. Usually I keep a running list of any that I see elsewhere or others share and then I’ll login to my account online to request everything, that way they are ready & waiting for me to just pick up at the library. Though typically I do take Ro with me and we go inside to play for a bit and browse any other books we might like. I just find it easier to request most of the books I’m looking for ahead of time. A couple of my favorites that we picked up last Friday were Penguin Problems & Ten Rules of the Birthday Wish (I was going with the theme of birthday, pizza, & penguins lol).

On the topic of books…I bought this one on Amazon recently and truly love it! Trying to be intentional about how we raise our family, it is important to me to normalize families of all kinds…those of difference races & colors, some with 2 moms or 2 dads, some children adopted, etc…

Last Sunday while grocery shopping I treated myself to $5 clearance Valentine’s roses and it has brought some sunshine to our home this week 🙂
