Project 52, Week 15
I finished my second ever audiobook this week and have been loving it! Sometimes I do find myself rewinding because I missed something – it can just be so hard to actually focus on listening all the time, I will find my mind wandering elsewhere sometimes. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the handiness of being able to listen to a book while I’m cooking or cleaning, its the best kind of multitasking! See my book review for the month here.
Earlier this week I made these blender Banana Muffins and we’ve been enjoying them for breakfast! You just need: 2C oats, 2 ripe bananas, 2 eggs, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1 & 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1C yogurt, and a couple good squeezes of honey. Put everything in your blender and blend until everything is well combined! Then I stir in some mix-ins…this week I did a few with chocolate chunks, a few with butterscotch chips, and the remaining with mini chocolate chips & heath bits – YUM!!!
The sun finally came out this week and I think it might even be here to stay!?!? It was definitely a FAVE for these beagle boys π
I FINALLY got my seeds for my garden started yesterday! Some I start indoors first and others I will directly sow after the first frost, really whatever the seed packet says on the back. But I’m so excited for things to GROW!
I loved this one from Instagram stories this week <3 and it was even shared by my sister – she is always a favorite of mine!
And this one too! I genuinely always try to smile at others and say Hi or Have a nice day – you never know how greatly it could turn around someone’s day π
Finally, this was a Verse of the Day in my bible app over the weekend and it couldn’t be more true.
What are your weekend plans? I think I’m going to meet up with my sister for some lunch & a movie π

I tried to do audible but found I was missing the story. You are right, you do need to focus. If I could do that, I think it would be so nice to listen to as I work around the house. Those muffins look yummy!

Yes, audiobooks are tricky. I’m glad I’ve been able to try them out with my library first. Thanks for stopping by Bri, happy weekend! π
