Project 52, week 7 layout
My FAVORITE from the last week was the fun time spent with my ladies! Girl time is the best time, right?! Just chatting about anything & everything, catching up on life, and laughing a whole lot.

I’ve picked up some things here and there and am working to put together this little gallery wall. I received the wooden sign as a gift for Christmas and knew I wanted to add pieces that were “home” for each of us. Found the heart & cactus at Target, the succulents can be found here, the celtic knot was from Etsy, and I find most of my M’s at TJ Maxx (though this particular one was a gift).
I was poking around my Goodreads account this week and found My 2017 Year in Books. It was a little info-graphic that had pulled together some stats on all the book I read last year, I was impressed to find that I had read a little over 10,000 pages! This has me pumped to see where I end up for 2018, not that I wasn’t already excited 😉 So far this year I’ve already read nearly 1,900 pages across 8 books!!!
A FAVE moment of mine this week was jamming on the way to work with my husband lol. Ron turned on some of our favorite tunes, cranked up the volume, and we sang along! We’ve been so fortunate to be able to carpool to work almost every day for the last, geez almost 4 years! Typically my husband drives, drops me off, and then picks me up – I know, I’ve got it made 😉
Well, he will likely be moving to a new job within his company soon that will have him at a different location and we won’t be able to carpool anymore. This week on that particular car ride it hit me that our carpooling days are numbered and I wanted to cry! It’s an extra hour we’ve gotten to spend together, I try my best to be grateful for that and I plan to soak it up while it is still happening!
