Project 52, Week 52 from last year & Week 1 of this year
Last Friday we got to see Baby M one last time & it seriously has me so darn excited for his arrival!!! He did not want to show us his face one bit but he sure had a lot of hair <3

I received an ice cream maker attachment for my KitchenAid mixer as a Christmas gift from my SIL & BIL and it has already changed my life lol! 😉 We made just a basic french vanilla flavor earlier this week and each added our own favorite mix-ins, mine was Andes mints & mint oreos while my hubby opted for just Joe Joe’s (Trader Joe’s Oreos). I’m looking forward to trying other flavors & even some sorbet or gelato too!!
On our meal plan this week was Steak Fajitas (using this marinade) but they turned into Steak Nachos when we realized we didn’t have tortillas. And it was the BEST mistake ever!!! I caramelized some onion red onion, added various peppers, and then cooked the steak in with it at the end to top our nachos!

Oh my goodness, YES I LOVE IT!!! We’ve been enjoying ice cream every night 😉 Other than it taking 8 hours for the mix to chill before churning it into ice cream it is really quite easy!

Ah! That’s so fun you got another ultrasound! I feel like it’s so hard to see things when they’re this big (since only one section can be shown at a time) but you got some great shots! Usually when I go in, they’re like “well, here is his spine, and here is the top of his head” so there isn’t much to see lol

Aww sweet boy is camera shy!!! Bummer on no tortillas however those nachos look EXCELLENT! I think that’s so neat how we can do so much with our Kitchen Aids. May need to get an ice cream attachment for myself too! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and get some rest 🙂 🙂
