I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving or if you’re still celebrating with friends & family this weekend that all goes well! I’m linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci to share my weekly favorites and of course another round of bump dates!
Also a little something to remember that I like to share every year…as you enjoy your Thanksgiving with family & friends or participate in Black Friday shopping, know that many truckers & their families sacrifice their holidays so that you can have yours – they deliver all the produce and goods so stores are stocked for you to shop to make your meal or find that amazing deal . I know this isn’t the only profession that makes this sacrifice but it is the one that hits closest to me. So as I list all I’m thankful for in my life I also include all the people who sacrifice their holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) for others. My Dad is an over the road trucker and we’ve celebrated many holidays either early or late since he started this job about 5 years ago. But I’m a proud daughter of a trucker and each time I shop I say a little prayer of thanks for those who make it possible and think of my Dad!

Are you out Black Friday shopping today? I pretty much stick to online deals, we might get out later in the day but not necessarily trying to get those doorbusters. Here are some of the deals I’ve already snagged…What are you buying?
May Designs 40% off sitewide – I LOVE these planners! I’ve used one every year for I think 5 years now. The size is small enough that it allows me to toss it in my purse easily without adding much weight yet big enough that I can write everything I need to in it.
Nickel & Suede – Unfortunately they do their Black Friday sale early and it is already over THIS MORNING MY EMAIL SAID 15% off but I did pick up 2 pairs of earrings to add to my collection! I LOVE my leopard & camo earrings so cheetah seemed like a no brainer and then I got a pretty blue for our new Baby Boy that will join us next year 🙂
Pearls for Pups Co. – Not a sale but these earrings are perfect for gifts and the net profits from your purchase are donated to animal organizations, so it is a gift that keeps giving! I purchased several pairs last weekend benefiting Hounds in Pounds, the fundraiser this weekend will benefit Hope Animal Rescue.
George Hats 20% off Truckers and Cash & Co. 25% off – I just couldn’t resist snagging a couple hats for Baby Boy M too!! It was so hard choosing the prints but I’ll probably stick these in my hubby’s stocking to surprise him 😉
How far along: 29 Weeks, Due January 29th
Size of baby: Acorn Squash
Gender: BOY!
Weight Gain: —
Maternity Clothes: Lots of my sweaters & dresses still fit me just fine. I did get a couple pairs of maternity tights so that I can easily wear dresses this season!
Nursery: Our crib arrived & Ronald even got it all built! My MIL helped us get everything organized from our shower so even though the room is full of our gifts it is organized.
Movement: Moving all the time and pushing out on my stomach even more, it’s such an odd thing watching your belly move lol
Symptoms: Honestly gas…sometimes after eating the digestion noises are rather loud and I can feel the gas moving about, it’s just awkward.
Cravings: none
What I miss: Being able to easily get out of bed, I have to do more of a roll to get out now lol
Best moment this week: OUR BABY SHOWER! We were beyond blessed by friends & family <3
Looking forward to: Our first 3rd Trimester appointment on Friday!
How far along: 30 Weeks
Size of baby: Zucchini? Butternut Squash? Honestly different apps have different references and they all seem outta wack lol
Gender: Boy
Weight Gain: 14lbs total
Maternity Clothes: With all the black friday and cyber monday deals coming up I have been tempted to browse for a few more things to add to my closet 😉
Nursery: Installed a new blackout window blind and the remaining shelving units for the closet.
Movement: Ronald was listening to my belly one night and babe gave him a good kick! 😉 He said it was cool to be able to hear the kick too.
Symptoms: SO MUCH SLEEP! I don’t feel exhausted but over the weekend I slept 10 and 9 hours each night so I guess my body needed it!
Cravings: Still not much for cravings but I can say I’ve felt hungrier recently and with the holidays it is hard to keep making good choices!
What I miss: I’m still really missing eggs over easy, my hubby just won’t allow it and so of course that only makes me want them more 😉
Best moment this week: Talking about our birth plan at our third trimester appointment, it definitely made things start to feel really REAL!
Looking forward to: Looking forward to Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Friday Rechelle! Hope you had a good Thanksgiving day. We laid low at the house during the day and went to parents house for dinner. Low key there too. Today hubby attempts to smoke turkey in the oven…using wood chips. I just cleaned the kitchen lol… thanks for the reminder about the truckers and other people who help make shopping possible. Thank you to your dad for his work in transporting the goods we take for granted. Please tell him and others to be careful as the weather changes, etc. love your baby bump updates… you started the pics barefoot and now you’re wearing boots… enjoy the weekend

Glad you had a good holiday, it was low key here for us too with my parents & sister! My hubby smoked our turkey yesterday, yum, hope yours turns out well too. And too funny to think about the changing weather of the bump pictures, it’s been fun to watch Baby M grow 🙂

Such a beautiful tribute to your dad and to all those who work to make sure our needs are taken care of on Thanksgiving. I probably should convert to smaller planners! Those are super cute! Can’t believe you’re starting to make your birth plan! It is getting real! Eggs over easy need to be included in your new mommy celebratory meal!!

Thank you Shannon! Yes, I LOVE the May Designs planner – they actually have 3 sizes, I always get original which is in the middle. Eggs over easy are definitely at the top of my list after this pregnancy 😉
