Sharing some favorites this Friday with Andrea & Erika!
Ro spent a weekend at Grandma & Grandpa E’s house recently. He had the best time doing his chicken chores!
Thanksgiving was still a go for us this year since we really only do the holiday with my parents & sister anyway. Here in Michigan we’ve been restricted to gatherings from only 2 households and less than 10 people total, thankful for a small family! 😉
A couple weeks ago they had pictures taken at daycare and we just recently got Ro’s back, this kid cracks us up! He was the only one to not give a smile in a single picture lol! Definitely going to treasure this for the many years to come. And then just the other day I caught him browsing the class picture, pointing out his friends <3
I grabbed this sweatshirt & these earrings as an early Christmas gift for my mom, she has been so helpful in our home the last few weeks and we wanted to say an extra thank you! I love that the earrings will pair well again for Valentine’s Day. While I was at it, I of course grabbed myself a new pair of Nickel & Suede too 😉 I thought these were SO pretty!
Right as we were getting ready to take off for a family walk Ro tripped and fell straight to his face on the sidewalk out our front door. Initially it was a little scary for Ron & I because we thought he might’ve lost a tooth, but thankfully he bounced back pretty quickly! He kept a pretty serious/grumpy face while on the walk (he asked to keep going) and had some road rash on his forehead, nose, & upper lip.
We’re big fans of hot cocoa around here! I swear Ro would stay outside forever & let us all freeze lol, so sometimes we have to bribe him with hot cocoa to come inside 😉 Also, pro tip…using milk for hot chocolate is so much tastier than water and even better, we heat up chocolate milk!
We find it best sometimes, especially on the weekends when Ro spends more time at home, that we need to have some structured play. So one day we got real wild and decided to let him paint! I put a cheap shower curtain down on the floor and let him have at it, of course bathtime immediately followed lol!
Our Elf, Darby, arrived last weekend with a festive breakfast. Ro doesn’t quite understand yet but he does think it is funny seeing Darby move about the house in silly places!
And just some other random photos that have been on my favorites list recently <3 Happy Weekend All!
