HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS! And a early Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!! As always, linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci with my Friday Favorites π I also thought I’d share my festive holiday decor here!
Project 52, Week 10
I caught these 2 sunbathing last weekend – one inside and one outside, too cute!
I snapped this pic because it’s something I always hope to remember! Hal joins me every morning as I do my hair & makeup in the bathroom. He almost always will have a toy with him ALL DAY LONG & I just love that about him! He wakes up ready to play and is just so happy π So it takes me a little longer getting around in the morning as I have to pause every so often to throw his toy but I don’t mind one bit!
We grabbed dinner out one night after much indecisiveness haha! I love getting out for dinner & just having deep meaningful conversations with my husband, especially if it takes place over a burrito π
AND I made some festive goodies this week too! Whoopie Pies for Pi Day on Wednesday but with a Bailey’s Buttercream Filling for a St. Patrick’s Day twist plus some shamrock cut out sugar cookies! YUM!
On to my St. Patrick’s Day decor! See some fun festive, DIYs that I shared here last year.
Β
We used books as part of our wedding centerpieces and I love pulling them out to fill my decor throughout the year. Gathered up my green ones to display this month of course! And I’ve always got that tiny beagle hidden somewhere in our table centerpiece π
Β
The hutch, my FAVE! Last year I filled my apothecary jars with mint oreos & spit peas which was so fun & festive. This year I opted against the cookies mostly for our health, but still filled up with split peas again or lima beans would work too!
Β
Of course I made my lightbox a little more festive too! Cead Mile Failte is Gaelic meaning A Hundred Thousand Welcomes.
Β
I kept my hot cocoa bar out for this month too since it is still wintery around here.
Β
And finally this little corner of my counter! I shared some special cards from my grandparents on Monday here, I mentioned that my Papa always ended every convo with us grandkids with Love You More! So I thought this setup was pretty perfect <3
Β
We are headed home to Hubb to celebrate the holiday weekend with my family! I am actually from a really teeny tiny and very Irish town here in Michigan, so we definitely go all out! SLAINTE! Do you do anything for St. Paddy’s Day?
