You know the drill, first up is my Project Life layouts. Since I missed last week due to celebrating the birthday beagles I’ve got weeks 27 & 28.
I haven’t shared my garden in a while…it is growing OUT OF CONTROL haha. Last year I planted everything spaced out like it was supposed to and followed instructions exactly. However, not everything grew or produced so I was left with some empty and wasted space. This year I decided to plant more to take in to account that things might not grow and that I could just thin things out or transplant them as needed…well, I think EVERYTHING grew! It’s fun though and I’m enjoying watching it progress.
These Birthday Beagles are always my favorites! I made them some dog friendly cake, cookies, and ice cream from Puppy Cake and I think they may have liked it 😉
We also celebrated my husband’s birthday yesterday, you can see the post I wrote about him here!
Last week I shared that I am on the book launch team for Melanie Shankle’s new book coming our in October, Church of the Small Things. This week she released the trailer for the book and it had me in tears! I’m making myself finish the library books I checked out for this month and am SO EXCITED to start reading my advanced copy next month!!!

Now on to my Petit Vour review from June. This box may have been my least favorite, not because the products weren’t good but just because not a single one really WOWED me and usually there is at least one item that I find to add to my beauty routine. Maybe some of these will be hits for you though and just what you’ve been looking for!
Mai Couture Charcoal Skincare Blotting Paper
I received the charcoal type of blotting paper that says it removes toxins from the skin. I use one paper along my oily areas once in the morning. The directions do say you can use before or after applying makeup, but definitely try to use before as it does remove some makeup. I didn’t have any huge noticeable changes from use the blotting paper but would definitely recommend it for those who struggle with oily skin. The package is thin and easy to take with you too!
Modern Minerals Lip Creme Tint
I really like this lip tint! It glides on very smooth and even though the color is a bright red I think it gives just a subtle tint. Best of both worlds getting a lip balm and tint in one! The round packaging isn’t my favorite though since it makes it an odd shape to store and carry.
My Daughter Fragrances Bloom 23 Perfume
This scent is a little more older/grown up than I would have maybe chosen, but I still I like it! I apply a little behind my ears and on my wrists, the intensity of it fades but the scent still lingers all day. I had purchased a sample of another scent from this same brand in a previous order actually too!
Niu Body Coconut Oil Makeup Remover Wipes
In this sample I received 2 wipes, so I used one to remove my everyday makeup and another to use on an evening after I had worn a little bit heavier makeup. Both times it worked without problem! I did have to dampen in slightly though. These wipes felt quite nourishing and I could see using them before cleansing my face daily.
