Project 52, Week 17
Last weekend our neighbor helped us get most of our garden tilled! The one section has stumps from pine trees that we cut down after we moved in so we couldn’t run his tractor over that portion.
I got to sit out on our deck and dive into my next Elin Hilderbrand novel, ahhhh my FAVORITE author and place to read!
I purchased a new quilt & shams a couple weeks ago, they arrived & I got them washed and revamped our bedroom! Loving this pile of mismatched FUN!
This meal was my favorite this week! Creamy Garlic Parmesan & Roasted Red Pepper Chicken, we served it over rice (would be good over noodles too) and I added broccoli to mine YUM
On Wednesday I shared some encouragement about choosing JOY & HAPPINESS in life 🙂 These recent instas were my inspo for the topic.
We had some really great weather this week and Hank was rather upset when I told him to come inside because it was bedtime, lol, so he retreated to under the bed.
These 2 were extra inspiring and motivational while I worked out one evening LOL. They made themselves comfortable and were so relaxed while I was sweating my booty off! And no, we don’t make our bed most mornings mostly out of bad habit but also because our dogs just undo it all by rutting around and making their own little comfy nests throughout the day while we’re gone – oh and Hank likes to get UNDER the covers and sometimes we come home to our quilt on the floor, so there is that…basically it is their bed not ours 😉
I also got to carpool with my hubby one day this week YAY! It was fabulous not having to drive and I hadn’t realized how much I just missed the conversations we have while commuting <3 (though I also slightly missed not being able to listen to my audiobook hehe)
