We stayed home Monday since we were hit with a big snow storm & being 9 months pregnant wasn’t worth the risk of driving. Having the extra time home with my pack was definitely a favorite as our lives are about to be turned around with Baby M 😉
I caught up on Grey’s Monday night since I forgot to watch last week’s episode!
Project 52, Week 4
During my Sunday grocery shopping I impulse purchased a package of the ready to bake cookie dough, eating a warm chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven each night this week has been my FAVORITE for sure!
We almost forgot to grab our Week 40 bump picture on Tuesday night, it was windy and COLD COLD COLD, Wednesday wind chill had us at -30 below!
How far along: 40 weeks, Due January 29th (yes, that means today we are actually 3 days past due!)
Size of baby: Watermelon
Gender: BOY!
Weight Gain: 25lbs
Maternity Clothes: Nothing new here! I am to the point though where I have considered wearing my slippers to work lol 😉
Nursery: See our reveal here! Love this room and can’t wait to see it occupied by a little boy soon.
Movement: I had read that movements might slow down near the end because space is limited but he still balls up and sticks his butt out at me along with his feet on my whole right side.
Symptoms: I have noticed in the last week or two that my hands/fingers feel sore or achy sometimes, I know carpal tunnel can occur during pregnancy so maybe it is related to that?
Cravings: No cravings but I’m eating all the dates & pineapple to try to help induce labor along with drinking my red raspberry leaf tea!! Can’t hurt right!?
What I miss: I had been telling myself that he would be a February baby and was a-ok with that but MAN, having multiple people all day every day at work ask when I’m due or make comments is just a constant reminder that he still isn’t here yet! I miss the bliss of not being SO close to Dday lol
Best moment this week: Getting an extra day on Monday due to the snow to stay home with my beagle pack <3
Looking forward to: BABY M ARRIVING!!!!!!!!

1. Incredibly grateful for these 2 beags! They have been the sweetest lately and don’t even know their world is about to be rocked when Baby M arrives 😉
2. So grateful for my hubby who offers to help me with everything & encourages me to rest more. He also gets up to fill my water, get me food, or bring me my vitamins.
3. Could not be more grateful to have had a boring pregnancy, everything has gone well, healthy, and I don’t have anything to complain about!
4. I am grateful for the midwifery practice I found to receive care throughout this pregnancy, I’ve had an excellent experience with all of the midwives.
5. And I’m grateful for these Valentine Little Debbie snack cakes too, because the always lift me up when I need it 😉

I keep thinking each of your previous posts would be your last!! He is just waiting to make his perfect grand debut! That’s so interesting that pineapple supposedly triggers labor. I’ve heard that before. Didn’t know about the dates! Can’t wait for the official announcement!!!!
Haha, I keep thinking it will too Shannon! I don’t even like pineapple but I’m desperate to try anything at this point 😉
