Cheers to another Fri-YAY! Linking up to share my favorites of the week with Andrea, Erika, & Narci as always.
Project 52, Week 16
I signed up for a blogger nail polish swap a couple weeks ago, we had to get our packages sent out this week and I even received mine already!!! There will be a link up on May 8th that I will be sharing more details about the swap 🙂 And I will now be painting my nails tonight, YAY
Yesterday was such a good mail day actually. I received my Grove order in which I got my absolute FAVE lip balm after the dogs decided to chew mine up, this new hand sanitizer to try out that smells really good, and my FAVORITE reusable bags! Seriously, if you use plastic baggies a lot I can’t recommend these reusable ones enough – I always get so many comments on mine and they’ve held up really well. We have about 6 of each size, use them for lunches and for the most part wash the ones we use everyday with a quick easy rinse.
I also placed my first order from TSF Botanicals and the packaging was SO PERFECT(seriously look at the adorable goats on the packaging)! The products I got smell divine too – I used the charcoal soap to wash my face last night and LOVED it, I plan to use the mint in the morning to wake me up 🙂 I also recommend following The Simple Farm on IG, they have a small organic farm in which they host many dinners & make the TSF Botanicals products from as well as raise goats to make caramels from the goat milk – the goats are my FAVORITE!!! They are just so sweet and funny too.
I also love following The Freckled Hen Farmhouse/Natalie Freeman on IG, she shared this on her personal page IG story this week and I couldn’t love it more!!! Self love y’all! Look at the good, not the bad. And stay positive always, it’ll change your life, I promise.
I stopped at TJ Maxx last weekend and of course found myself some goodies 😉 I love collecting unique and fun “M’s” for our last name, I’ve got a collection up in our Kitchen and a few others scattered throughout my decor…thinking I’ve got enough built up again that I might do a gallery wall of them in our bedroom!
Look at the pretty details of these 2 I scored though! The metallic & minty teal color!!
This next one is just so perfectly imperfect and I could not love it more. Our house is messy. There are dumbbells scattered, the butterfly bunting fell down from where it was hanging on the entertainment center, that frame has been sitting waiting to be hung for a couple months now, we’ve still got racing bucket seats in our living room, and dog toys are everywhere. But this is our life, our home, we live here – like actually really LIVE. I don’t ever try to shy away from sharing something here on my blog because it isn’t picture perfect…this IS picture perfect to me, to us! That mess shows the fun we’re having, the life we’re living. And those guitars that may look random in our living room encourage nights like these, where my husband just picks one up and plays a song or two or ten, both of us just singing along – these kind of nights are honestly some of my very FAVORITE, truly!
I’m also linking up for April’s Growing in Gratitude where we share 5 things we are grateful for each month 🙂
1. Grateful for Hal. We celebrated 3 years with the sweetest beagle this month.
2. Grateful for my health. This month my husband and I both had our yearly preventative physicals and it just made me thankful to not have any big health concerns right now.
3. Grateful for Spring, finally.
4. Grateful for spontaneously being able to meet up with my sister last weekend for a nice lunch and hilarious movie.
5. Grateful for the best of friends that also understand the importance of making time for one another.

Rechelle,
As usual, I love reading your posts. I get the best ideas from you (which usually result in my spending money on things I don’t really need)!
Hope you and Ronald have a great weekend.

I love that you collect M’s. We have one G and I like it, but it would be fun to have more. I wish I had that open space above my cabinets for more decor space! So fun that you got your nail polish swap already!
Rechelle says
Yes the space above the cabinets is so nice to have for additional decor! Have a great weekend Dara 🙂

I love your M’s! And I LOVE the picture of your house–it’s not that messy, it’s just REAL! 🙂 Have a great weekend, friend! 🙂
Rechelle says
Thanks Carly! I love those real life pics 🙂 Enjoy your weekend too!

Happy Friday Rechelle! So many great things on your post. I have a loved messy “real” house – no critters creeping around except for Daisy the dog. I don’t think I could handle a “perfect” house – I’d be afraid to breathe or move anything! Have a great weekend!!!

Right?!?! Real is perfect 🙂 Happy Weekend Laurie!!!
