It’s all about my favorite thrift finds today! Some of these are old and some are newer, some were even just $2 Goodwill finds. I am all about finding truly special and unique pieces at a good price! Though I do still appreciate making an investment in pieces you really love and know will last forever.
Thifting has been the easiest and quickest way for me to grow my decor collections! These are a few pieces that fit into my Americana theme: wood slat flag, bird house, little red corvette planter and blue stars vase.
I use holly for my Christmas decor and I have found some really great items in the last couple years that have really grown my collection! And I am obsessed with my little Christmas trucks, especially the mail truck because I just love mail =]
Finally just general, everyday finds that I incorporate into a lot of my decor for different seasons like my hankies and lots of books. Some of the hankies were left over from our wedding and I continue to pick up ones I love. I use them as doilies, tie them together as a banner and they have been a part of centerpieces for a bridal shower. Of course while I was trying to capture my Peanuts books Hank and Hal had to join in. I’ve got lots of seasonal books that I put out too but I especially treasure beagle books 😉 Oh and I really love this light up globe that my aunt snagged for me!
Do you enjoy thrifting? What are some of your favorite finds?

Love that flag! I used to really dislike thrift stores, until I discovered all the treasures you can find there! I get pretty lucky with dress shopping at Goodwill, and actually get the most compliments on the dresses I find there- and no one would ever know they only cost $4!

Thank you Tara! Yes, I love finding treasures in clothing too 🙂 It is the absolute best when someone compliments you on a $4 dress and they have no idea its a Goodwill find!
