I’m sharing a few quick and easy DIY crafts for your new years eve decor! Yes, you’ve still got time to get supplies and whip these up, I promise they will only take a couple minutes. Seriously you can even make these the day of!
I made these banners for a friend’s bachelorette in Nashville last year so that our hotel rooms were a little more festive. Turns out they are really versatile and work for other celebrations too!
I found the foam letters in a bag at JoAnn’s or Michaels in the kids craft section. Just put some paint on them or cover with mod podge and glitter. I wasn’t thinking long term use when I made these but was so glad after that I used a neutral gold because now they work for almost everything! See here when I pulled them out for our Christmas Minute To Win It Couples Games too.
I bought a sheet of the glitter cardstock and cut it into squares, the sizes were inconsistent but I liked the variety. You could also use a circle or other shape punch. Then I just sewed all the squares together! If you don’t have a sewing machine just tape, glue or clothespin your shapes on some ribbon or twine.
I made these canvases the day of New Year’s Eve last year before our friends came over. I just spray painted them gold, spelled out my letters with mod podge and covered with glitter.
So easy, so fun, and so festive! I hang the garland in our tree and just use the signs on the table or our counters. Plus these work for any birthday, party, or celebration!
