I did my best to squeeze in as much reading as I could over my 12 days of holiday vacation! I picked up 2 library books and almost got through both. I of course also binge watched a bunch of The Good Wife, so that slowed my reading just a little 😉
I’m currently finishing up  A Hundred Summers by Beatriz Williams. I love that it was set in the 1930’s and took place over the coarse of the Great Depression and World War II. The chapters did bounce back and forth where one chapter would be early in the 1930’s and then the next was later until you were all caught up with the info and the story wrapped up. It was really cute, kept me wanting to read more, and had a good overall storyline!
This next book was my favorite book of the year! Actually it honestly might be my favorite book ever, top five at least with out a doubt! Cancel the Wedding by Carolyn Dingman was an excellent read. This book was everything. It made me both laugh and cry so hard. It’s a good beach read with a little more substance and while there of course it romance it plays second to the family history that unravels. Very touching story that warmed my hear
I’m picking up Elin Hilderbrand’s Winter Street and Winter Stroll this week. Hopefully the third book in the series, Winter Storm, will be available when I’m done!
