Hi Friends! Today I’m trying something new, I am collaborating to bring you this post on improving your outdoor oasis. Your garden is your haven when it comes to the outside world. When you have a whole realm of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and grasses to your name, you’re going to want to spend a lot more time outside. And that’s great! You definitely need to soak up the sun in the modern age, and yet there’s still some ways to make your outside world a little more practical and enjoyable. Here are some simple ideas on how you can make your outdoor space a little cozier and practical.
A Good Patio or Deck
This is the perfect place to hang out when the warmer weather rolls around and especially in the evening time. You can have some good family and friendly BBQs, and when you have a a form of shade to cover you you’ll be much more likely to head outdoors.
A Handy Hammock or Fun Seating
Hammocks are something we don’t think about a lot, but they’re a great addition to any kind of outdoor space. When you have more of an adventuring space, with plenty of rocks and weeds, a hammock hanging in the middle is going to be a popular addition to get away from the mess! Similarly, if you have plenty of trees in your garden, hang a hammock up between two of them for a great respite space on a sunny day. Using nature’s canopy to good advantage is a practice any gardener would be proud of.
A Sturdy Shed
When we think of sheds, we usually picture a small wooden building slathered in garnish with minimal windows and a flimsy lock. However, there’s plenty of other routes you can take when it comes to building a structure in your garden! For example, you can turn to something made of metal instead, and exactly to your specifications. But that’s insane, you cry! Yes, when we think of a metal structure, we think of something huge with incredibly warm temperatures on the inside that wouldn’t be right for a garden at all. And yet, people like the Armstrong Steel building company can design something that’s exactly right for you, so those specifications are going to be more important than ever!
Gardens are investments. There’s a lot you can do to optimize your outdoor space, but think about the structures you could install to make it a little prettier and more practical. How have you upgraded your outdoors or have plans to?

Your deck looks like such a nice outdoor spot. I wish I had a deck! I spy a westie in the 3rd pic!

Thank you Dara! Yes, that is a wild westie 😉 He belongs to my parents.

Living in Arizona, anything we can do to limit watering is a plus, while we love having a small amount of grass, and it keeps things cooler, this year we plan to go change to artificial turf, with putting greens of course.

Love it, can’t wait to see the greens 😉
