It has been a while since I’ve done this type of post and figured it was time to update, here are three things about each of us right now…
Hank has formed a bad habit of apparently not having enough time to eat his food and instead needs to be outside chasing squirrels – he will eat half then decide its been too long and he must get back outdoors.
Its getting cold again so he spends more time sleeping under the covers in our bed warming us up!
Lately Hank has been more playful than usual. He often likes to get rowdy with you, be loud, and kind of run around but recently he has been picking up toys more to engage us with play.
Hal has gained a little bit of weight recently & we’ve been working on feeding him less to try to get him to lose some – he is so active, running/playing with his toys every night but the poor guy just loves food ๐
Hal loves his routines. He knows that when we return from a walk that he gets a little reward, usually I have homemade frozen treats and so he’ll immediately go wait in front of the freezer to collect. He can be full on asleep but when you tell him it is bedtime he is ready for it, don’t have to tell him twice! And he waits for me on the couch when I get home from being away so we can do a little love time to say hello to one another <3
Hal thinks everything is for him recently or at least has to check out what you’ve got. Bring anything home, he’s gotta inspect it. Even just grabbing a pen out of a drawer he’s hopping up to take a sniff. It’s kind of funny & cute but also like dude not everything is yours…okay well, maybe it is ๐
Trying to find that balance of doing things for ourselves & yet also making progress on all things preparing for Baby M. Wanting to enjoy our ‘me time’ and ‘us time’ but make sure we have everything ready for baby too!
For me I’m just enjoying this pregnancy, appreciating my body & navigating all the changes. I say it all the time, but I am incredibly grateful for how well I’ve felt throughout!
As for Ron he’s been having fun exploring more with some photography, mostly taking photos of cars but of course also the beags well and my weekly bump ๐

Happy Wednesday! Always love to read whatโs up with you and your guys. What is it about dogs and squirrels? My pit bull Daisy loves to give chase… one Saturday she spotted TWO squirrels in one tree about 6 inches aparton the same branch. They then went separate ways and it drove her nuts. And I can relate about the โI know my scheduleโ – training has backfired and now they are training us. Enjoy your human time. So glad your pregnancy has been easy on you!

I love learning more about your boys!!! They have such unique personalities! Mine enjoy squirrel hunting too and it can distract them from their food!

It is so fun to get to know dogs’ personalities! Those darn squirrels tho ๐
