HELLO Monday and Happy Labor Day from Denver, CO! What a fun and busy weekend we had, I’ll wrap it up here for you 🙂
 
On Friday I just couldn’t miss the last First Friday Food Trucks in our town, so we stopped to pick up dinner (& a s’more crepe!) for myself before heading home to a night with just the beags. Meanwhile Ron had a wedding rehearsal to attend – I would have attended but with the dogs being home alone all day while we worked we couldn’t leave them home all night too.
 
Saturday we packed and prepped for a wedding that evening and then for a week in Denver. Lots of list checking and double checking to make sure we had it all! Then my sister arrived to stay with our dogs for the week and we got ready to head out 🙂
 
Saturday night Ron was in one of his best friend’s wedding and we celebrated the lovely couple! It was a really nice start to our anniversary celebration too, getting to see friends commit to one another and finding a renewed sense in our marriage too.
 
We were up early Sunday morning off to the airport and headed to Denver! We arrived to Denver by 10a so we still had most of the day to enjoy which was really nice. Picked up our rental car and headed out for a ball game. Lucky enough we were able to catch our Arizona Diamondbacks at the Rockies!
 
Each year we plan to visit a different MLB ballpark for our anniversary and if all goes as planned we should see the last one on our 25th Anniversary 😉 We’d already been to a handful before getting married, checked 2 off our list on our honeymoon and have now seen one for each of the 3 years we’ve been married!
 
We hung around the area surrounding the ballpark after the game to grab some food and drinks but called it a relatively early night since we had already been awake for so long.
