What we’re eating…
Earlier this month we tried Spinach & Swiss Meatballs that are definitely now on our favorites list! And last week we had Pork Skewers with Apples & Onion alongside potatoes – DELISH 🙂

Ron proposed 4 years ago this month, I shared How He Asked earlier this month! Also around this time last year I was working on this blog to get it ready for launch, can’t wait to celebrate next month!
What I’m loving…
My tiered plant shelving! I love this little corner of succulents and even better is that I can enjoy them from the comfort of my couch 😉 Once it stays consistently nice outside and there isn’t a chance of frost, I’ll move this little setup to my deck outside!
What we’ve been up to…
This month we spent a great deal of time getting out and enjoying the sunshine via family walks. I celebrated my Mom for Mother’s Day with breakfast and a trip to Ikea and we went to my hometown for Memorial Day weekend!
What I’m dreading…
The sun is shining more the weather is heating up, I mean really what is there to dread?!
What I’m working on…
Growing my little succulent collection! I’m trying my hand at propagating these guys and I love the pink roots and tiny buds that are growing.
What I’m excited about…
Getting my garden planted outside! It’s on the agenda for this weekend finally 🙂
What I’m watching/reading…
House of Cards! It just returned yesterday so we’ve got some binge watching to do =O You can see my May book review here.

I’ve got this song stuck in my head constantly but I’m not even mad about it lol
What I’m wearing…
So I failed at taking pictures recently of the outfits I’ve been wearing…I did however, pick up these jeans on clearance at Target recently along with this shirt plus the cactus shirt and I love each of them so very much!
What I’m doing this weekend…
We’ve got another First Friday’s Food Truck Festival in town and I’ll be picking my sister up from the airport too.
What I’m looking forward to next month…
The start of Summer! I’ll also be celebrating one year of blogging, so stayed tuned for a celebration!
What else is new…
We tried out a one month subscription to Mitten Crate. We had gifted my husband’s parents a 3 month subscription for Christmas, they loved it and from the photos we were kind of jealous too! So when I got a random email that the May box was 50% off for a couple days I snagged it! It was heavily cherry themed which kind of bummed out my husband but everything was awesome and we found some new local favorites!
Bonus Question: What is your favorite vacation spot?
Arizona! It is where my husband grew up and we love getting back to visit his family as much as we can!
