Oh Monday, hello again! Today I’m sharing all about the little Galentine’s I put together for some of my favorite ladies (due to the snow I didn’t get them in the mail as soon as I would have liked, so for my gal pals reading – act surprised when you see yours in your mailbox lol) <3 You may not be able to get these exact items in time but I still think you can use the simple idea and whip something up for your besties in time too!
As January was winding down I was thinking ahead and knew I wanted to put together a little something to mail to my BFFs. I wasn’t looking to do anything grand, more just a small reminder for them & to share my LOVE. My goal was to still be able to just use a card/envelope to mail, so I headed to Etsy for some inspiration.
I found these bookmarks that I just printed out and colored – easy & inexpensive, yet still thoughtful. Then I just used packing tape to “laminate” them HA! I also ordered these hair ties in a variety of prints – again simple & inexpensive but also practical right?!
I just selected from the random notecards I keep on hand and wrote a personalized little message on the inside. When I stopped at Target a couple weekends ago I grabbed these puffy hearts & confetti to fill the cards with and make it just a touch more festive!
All said and done I sent out 7 Valentine’s to my besties and they were less than $2.50 each, not including postage. So while it wasn’t super extravagant it was thoughtful and just a little reminder for my girlfriends to let them know how much I love & care about them, plus don’t we all enjoy a little happy mail! 😉
Even if you don’t do something this week, I think loving on the ladies in your life is so important. I don’t get to spend as much time with my girlfriends as I would like but I like them to know I’m always here for them, and I know they’re there for me anytime too! Most friends always tell each other that they’re there for them but I think taking it just a tiny step further and actually showing it really makes a difference! What are your Valentine’s Day plans? Do you celebrate your ladies too?

What a nice thing to do for your gal pals! And very creative things you did! I just heard of Galentine’s Day last week in the paper. I might be able to get a few together – I’ll see my gals in workout tomorrow…
