What an excellent short week! I’m linking up with Andrea as usual to share my favorites from the week ๐
As always, here is my Project 52, week 21 layout. For each week this year I am using the Project Life app to make a page so that at the end of the year I can print a book of all our memories, I’m especially happy to capture the everyday little moments that really make up our lives!
In my What’s Up Wednesday post I shared that we tried a one month subscription to Mitten Crate, I thought today I’d share the goodies that came in the box since some have become our favorites ๐ I’ve been munching on the chocolate covered cherries as a little after work treat, yum! The peanut butter has a good flavor and smell which is a lot coming from someone who does NOT like peanut butter, I tried a lick ๐ We were excited to try the fudge since it is literally from just down the road!Haven’t tried to chips or soda just yet and the shortbread cookies surprised us both! I actually REALLY like the lavender/lemon combo!
Of course Memorial Day was an absolute FAVORITE of mine this week! My little hometown goes from a quiet little village to what we consider HOPPING! Here are a few early morning pictures before festivities kicked off and some from during the parade =]
Hank and Hal lounged hard! It was a sunshiny and we spent most of the weekend outside, it was perfection!
And obviously we had to indulge in an elephant ear, is it really Memorial Day or the start of summer if you don’t?!
Ron took Tuesday off from work to go to the other side of the state to pick up a transmission for the Corvette and I enjoyed these 2 snaps of my FAVE beags <3
Last night I worked in the yard a little and Ron worked out in the garage, he had to run to the hardware store quick and came home with flowers & beer too. I usually just buy flowers for myself because they make me smile or cut them from my yard during the summer so it was a happy little surprise that he thought to do that for me, its been a while, making it all the more SWEETER!
