Hi there! Today I am linking up with Andrea for a Show & Tell sharing a few gift ideas on in the categories of want, need, wear, and read. Last year this post worked out really well for me as my parents actually gifted me a watch I listed even when I didn’t ask for it! So I thought long and hard about what I wanted to put on my list this year 😉
Even more important than the things I list below though is that today is #GivingTuesday, click here to see my post about the significance of donating and giving as I share some of the organizations that are on our list to support today!
Typically I prefer to get my books from the library because it is space and cost effective, however memoir, self help, inspirational, and such type books I like to purchase so that I may refer to them often. I purchased Sophie Hudson’s newest book, All in All journaling devotional, in October which was something very new for me but I am LOVING IT! So I’ve added a few more similar to my list.
- sending mail – sometimes random notes or cards, but also I try to remember to send cards of celebration for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I love receiving mail and sending it to!
- packing lunch – I pack my husband’s lunch almost every day and I’ll even sometimes add in cookies or other treats so he knows I’m intentionally packing a lunch and not just throwing it together.
- baking goodies – I like to try to keep baked goods in our home since my husband is a cookie monster, but also to offer to anyone who might visit and sometimes we’ll take them to work to share as well.
- I always keep homemade frozen dog treats on hand through the summer to reward the beags after a walk, I’ve made them homemade food and other treats too.
How do you serve others? I’d love more ideas to add to my list!
Happy Monday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for another Show & Tell discussion sharing our guilty pleasures this time around. You can scroll through my previous Show & Tell posts here, including topics on Prom, a Home Tour, and Grown Up Parties.
