I shared my Christmas decor on Monday and missed out on sharing our little weekend. So today I’m backtracking to winding down our weekend!
I’m linking up with Abi at Bloomability for her monthly linkup and this months challenge was Be Sweet – Make A Treat For Your Neighbor!
I’ll be honest I chose to bend the rules a little. We aren’t super close with our neighbors and it just felt really forced to make a treat for them. I put myself on the opposite side and thought it would be a little odd to receive a random treat and wasn’t sure if I’d even eat it. Not that I think they would try to poison us! But I think people in this day and age are more allergic or intolerant of certain foods.
So I instead chose to make treats for our co-workers! We’ve occasionally brought in goodies to share in the past and I always make a tray up for each of us to take of various Christmas treats each year. I knew they wouldn’t go unappreciated and I knew they would be eaten right up!
Here is the recipe I used for the butterscotch toffee cookies. It was a nice, random little pick me up to start off the work week!
