I like to set goals for each year and shared mine for 2017 here. I’m going to do a check in on how successful I was in reaching my goals and next week I’ll be sharing my goals for 2018 🙂
2017:
Read – I set a goal of 30 books for the year and ended up finishing just a few more, you can follow me on Goodreads here. I was a little nervous about this goal at first because in the past I’ve very easily jumped off & on reading, but I think this goal (and watching my progress on Goodreads) really helped me stick to it. There were some months I only read 2 books but then others when I read 3 or 4 even!
Create – I set my goal to stitch, sew, craft, cook & bake more. I’d say I was half successful on this one. I didn’t get creative as much this year but I felt I did really well in the kitchen. I think I had a meal plan almost every single week and we tried several new recipes that have become favorites! I felt so much more at ease knowing I had meals planned each week and really turned into a grocery shopping pro 😉
Adventures with Hank & Hal – I think we did really well at this! We went on so many more walks this year than the previous. I also signed up for a subscription box for the beags so we get treats & toys delivered monthly and I’ve tried to keep a stockpile of clearance toys for Hal so he gets a new one to destroy every week or two. Plus there was the whole getting sprayed by a skunk that was quite the adventure, rolling in turkey poo before 7am, and all their other shenanigans! 😉

Thank you! I really like organizing…it just makes me happy, so it is easy for me.
Take care,
